There was a tenant my dad had back in the days when I was still in school. He was owing rent for more than two years. He didn't want to renew neither did he vacate the premises. It was a shop, my day decided to let him be but I needed the money for school runs so I contacted a friend who was a lawyer.He gave the idea of begging the tenant to pay any amount he had even if it's for one month (note the tenancy contract was yearly). After much persuasion the tenant gave in and decided to pay for one month. The lawyer quickly drafted an agreement that aided the tenant's eviction from the property.Ps: The tenant moved from paying annually to paying monthly so he was instructed to vacate the shop at the expiration of his rent.
